I really want to hang a world map in my studio. We converted the living room at the front of the house into the studio. I have a big table in there — it’s a gathering place. Good thing I have enough chairs for everyone to be working at the table at the same time. Anyway, I [...] Since it’s my birthday month, I want to share with you some of my favorite things. Today’s favorite: the mountains. Lucky for me, we got to spend about 3 weeks in the mountains this summer (unusual for us). I grew up in the mountains and so I love any chance to go back and pay a visit. I [...] Summer = Family Reunions I am loving all this time with my family. We even get to spend some quality time with Chris’ family. Win. Win. My kiddos loved this slide my mom set up. That was a very fun day. Nothing brings a family together like water guns. Hooray for families. We feel so lucky to have such amazing [...] We have an adventure in our near future: moving. Back in January we decided to move closer to Chris’ office and after months of house hunting and months of crazy cleaning for last minute showings, things are moving forward. Which brings me to Pinterest. I’ve been gathering inspiration for the new house. Here’s what I’m hoping for in [...] We recently celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary and so I thought it would be fun to post some photos from our wedding. That’s us. This was my bouquet. So amazingly beautiful. And heavy. The reception hall. All white. The flowers were amazing. I do not have words to describe how stunning the flowers were (thanks, Mom and Pa). See that [...] Today I had some time in the studio with the boys. The older kiddos painted with me while I made some simple illustrations for Sunday. I get to teach the Primary kids at church about faith and how faith grows like a seed. The little man helped himself to a bottle. I love the way it dribbles [...] We had so much fun at Sea World. The rides. The animals. The water. The everything. In fact, we were so busy having fun that this is the only photo we took the entire day (in the parking lot getting ready to go home). And since I’m not much for saying things, you can read what my sister [...] We enjoyed our first beach day last weekend. It was Owen’s first trip down there and he was impressed. He loved the sand. He loved the seaweed. He loved the water. The boys are already asking when we can go again. (The photos were taken with Chris’ iPhone using the [...] Happy Mother’s Day. (My family in the 1980′s. I’m in the yellow coat.) I love my mom (Hi, MoM). Thanks for taking us camping in southern Utah a lot when we were kids. I liked it. And I liked the dutch oven cooking. But most of all, I like you.
