A few weeks ago I found an old copy of Jumanji at Goodwill. (Love this story!)
I tore out my favorite illustrations, spray painted old frames white, and carefully arranged it all over the piano.
How is that for $1 artwork and [...]

Welcome back for another Tutorial Tuesday! The Pocket Accordion Book Tutorial builds off of the Accordion Book Tutorial I posted last week, but you can make this even if you didn’t make the accordion book. [Or you can skip the tutorial and head straight for my etsy shop... just kidding! You can do this! [...] Howdy… I’m Sarah’s husband, and she has graciously allowed me to try my hand at blogging. I like to do DIY projects around the house and basically, that’s what I do when I’m not at work or playing with my family. So I thought… why not document what I do and share it with the blogging world? [...] There are not enough daddy bloggers in the world. That’s one reason I invited my husband to blog here with me. Tomorrow is my first Tutorial Tuesday. What’s that, you say? It’s new! Each Tuesday, a new tutorial will be posted. The tutorials will cover [...] Happy Fourth of July (a little late, I know)! My mother-in-law made these brownie burger cupcakes. Bakerella is always up to something tasty. It was a lot of work but a huge hit with my boys (kiddos and husband!). Really cute idea. I especially love the American Flag cupcake toppers. Good work, Karen! As for me, I’d [...]

Except they are not for my family but my brother and sister-in-law who are expecting their first baby! Hooray! I traced a bib I have to [...] … for the whole family! I made these spa wraps for my brother and sister-in-law who are expecting their first baby. Matching towels! They are very simple to make and totally satisfying. I followed Skip to my Lou‘s hooded towel tutorial except I appliqued those cute strips of fabric on instead of sewing on ribbon (I couldn’t [...] |
