Hello friends. I have a bunch of things on my mind. Here are a few: 1. This is what the little man looks like when he’s teething. He has to concentrate very hard. And it hurts. A lot.
2. This is my t-ball all-star. Watching his games is way more entertaining than I had anticipated. And it’s exactly how [...] I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but I”ll say it again: I love making books for people I know. (Don’t get me wrong, I love making books for people I don’t know too.) This time I got to make a cousin’s guest book (Hi Amanda and Cathy!). The cover was purple silk bound with ivory waxed linen [...] Kirk Richards is one of my most favorite people on the planet. And his wife, Amy. And their kiddos. They are all dear friends of ours. [Side note: It was our good fortune to live in their basement the first couple of years we were married. They are the best, most awesome, inspiring, wonderful, fun people we [...] My grandpa recently turned 90. Chris and I got to go visit for the weekend and celebrate with all my cousins. It was really fun. While I was there, I took some photos of Grandpa’s house. I have so many fond memories in that house — we would visit every summer when we were [...] I’m always looking for child-friendly ways of writing thank you notes. It’s never too early to learn to say thank you! This time, the birthday boy sent postcards to tell his friends and grandparents and aunties and uncles thanks for the birthday gifts.
