Beautiful, true, speaks to me in that spot that has been far too neglected. Thanks for the inspiration, Jessie. I’ve been carrying my new journal around in my purse for a couple of weeks now. I think it’s ready to come out now.

Thanks so much! I was just thinking today that I wanted/needed to keep a journal again. Then, I immediately began to worry about all the things you mentioned here. Thank you for the beautifully written reminder that my journal is for me. I can’t wait to get started on it.

I like to keep a mini-journal in my calendar. I write little notes on the day’s square. It’s quick and easy and low stress, but helps me remember what happened when and how I felt about it.
