Surprise #1
Our shower has been leaking into the garage attic. We like to do our own home projects (most of the time) but I’m so glad we hired this one out. I was hoping the mess would be cleaned up and gone by Friday, but seeing as that’s tomorrow and there is still tile to install… sigh… But I’m not complaining! We get a new bathroom! Merry Christmas to us! I’ll post pics when it’s all done. You will be jealous.
Surprise #2
The boys got a package in the mail! Charysse Levine of BookBound Publishing sent the boys 2 autographed books from her company. I first met Charysse through email because I was using her trademarked name (gasp!). I had no idea. The whole thing made me sick to my stomach. Long story made short is: Charysse is awesome. She is the kind of business woman I want to be – willing to compromise, every one’s best interest at heart, easy to talk to, and hilarious. Instead of attacking me (which she could have) she wanted to compromise. And to top it off, she sent us books! Thank you Charysse! We’ve been reading and re-reading “Sad Sam and the Magic Cookies” and “Laffy the Lamb” since they arrived.

Surprise #3
This one is a surprise for you from me! I have been working around the clock getting ready for a Book Bound Bindery Open House. The big event is in 3 weeks (Thursday, November 5) here at my house.
